We are happy to announce the new Boonar Studio project – The Kid DIY Kit. Assemble your little rabbit in no time, choose the right base, magnet-connect the right face for the right mood and use some paint to make it live. We have worked hard to bring this little creature to life. We even wrote a song. Now we need some of your love to develop it further. After dozens of 3D prints, we have finally made the molds for the first run. Of course, all this is still a Beta phase. The body, bases, and faces still require some adjustments, which means that we’ll have to do more edits in 3D programs like ZBrush, Blender and other. Also, we will have to invest in high-quality molding silicones so the mold can transfer all the details from the master figure. The alternative is to hire professionals to do molding and casting which might be a little bit more expensive. Whatever route we take we really hope that you’ll join us on this voyage.

According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, when freelance first came into English in the early 1800s, it was used to refer to a medieval mercenary who would fight for whichever nation or person paid them the most. Our earliest written evidence for ‘freelance’ comes from Sir Walter Scott’s Ivanhoe, in which a lord refers to his paid army of ‘free lances’.

Lancebook is a directory of many amazing, unarmed and friendly freelance artists, designers and other creators, curated by the members of Boonika Network and maintained by WPBrush.
